Thanks for the tips. Can’t agree more about the flash: there isn’t one case where turning on the flash would have helped me out. It just ends up creating huge glare against the glass.

I’d also be interested to see if using a higher ISO equivalent would help. The problem I had was that, since few of the tanks are lit, fast-moving fish often appear as blurs. You’ll notice all the “underwater” pictures above are of slow-moving fellows.</description>
